What does it mean when you're driving and suddenly some of the power cuts out? Like the heat stopped blowing, the 2wd and 4wd switch light went out(cant switch them, it just stopped working), the rpm gage stays at 0, mph gage stays at 0, battery volt gage stays at 0, and the lights went dim. Yet when I pressed on the gas peddle it would stil pick up speed, the brakes stil work, and everything else stil works. Its low on coolant and needs an oil change pretty bad 'cuz its over its miles, would that have anything to do with it? Please help me figure out what's wrong and how to fix it. Thank you!

Do you have a multi meter to do some testing? The oil or coolant would have anything to do with it.
