97 blazer

1997 CHEVROLET BLAZER

I have a 97 chevy blazer that had just had the 4.3 v6 vortec rebuilt. Now the motor will rev up when im not stepping on the gas, and when i accelerate it often acts like its not getting enough gas and will cut out. What could be the problem?

Clean the idle air control valve and see what happens

Clean the IAC, didnt work but found a loose wire to the coolant temp sensor. reconected it and engine now runs great. Thanks for the help though!
