#1 spark plug wire it runs like crap disconnect

I have a 1997 chevy astro van 4.3 liter vortech with the csfi injection and the ignition system. Whenever i hook up the #1 spark plug wire it runs like crap disconnect it and other than a little lack of power it runs great!!!!

Noticed a little power loss so i decided to change the plugs when doing so i noticed that the #1 plug wire was broke so i also changed the wires after doing so the van ran worse after checking over every thing several times i decided to disconnect that #1plug and bam ran fine I'm stumped

please help

are the other leads on correct plugs?

YES EVERY THING IS WHERE IT NEEDS TO BE IVE TRIPLE CHECKED EVERY THING IT ALSO HAS A NEW CAP AND ROTOR

i have the same problem but it is #3 if i remove the plug wire it runs better but if i replace it then i get a poping sound and poor performance

Sound's like you need to do a compression test to make sure your valves are ok. If that checks out ok you have to have the wires crossed...
