how do i change the oil pan gasket on a 1997 eldorado?

Removing the subframe, transmission, and crossover pipe. Some have tried to get around this, and it usually results in more damage. Realistically, to go that far, you should strongly consider resealing the lower crankcase as well(if it is oil leak correction you are after), as it is probably what is leaking. If the oil pan has been damaged by road hazard, disregard the previous statement.
