i turn key all it does is click

Have a 1997 - Have had the starter checked its good what else could be wrong? have replaced the steering column have had the starter checked its good all the car does is click when you try to turn it over?

If you only get a click, check to make sure the battery terminals are clean and tight. Make sure all connections are clean and tight,
