1997 Buick Riviera stalling and overheating

Getting a check engine code p0441, car is overheating and stalling. What are the possible problems?

441 is canister purge andwont' cause an overheat but a pro should see why it's plugged up. The ovehrat can be many things, bad radiator check for cold spots. Thermostat and or head gaskets. Have it pressure checked for that.
