e brake chime is going off all the time

hello im in a bind on the emergency brake chime going off ringing and need some advice on how to stop it the cars a buick1997 riviera im not good speller thought ok i never graduated high ok but im needing some advice how to stop or repair. you no what to do if the like emergency brake is not letting the sensor to turn off and not chime like the door is open chime sounds. do you now like how to fix or if unplug the plug will it hurt anything else

Check the brake master cylinder fluid level, sensor and the emergency brake switch adjustment
