my high beams stay on at night and the tail lights stay off at night what can I do?

Have the manufacturers specific codes checked, see if anything shows up. There is a lamp control module that can effect both the tail lamps and headlamps. Also, there are fuses for both the headlamps and tail lamps. You could check for voltage at the fuse circuits, with headlamp switch on. The problem may be in the lamp control module, can't be sure from here?
