production date?

According to all paperwork I have I have a 1997 Buick Lesabre limited, but the info on the driver side door says production date april 1996, so which year repair manual should I buy?


the gm sticker on the drivers door says production date 04/96; everything else says it is a 1997 Buick LeSabre limited (owners manual, registration paperwork, inspection sticker), which is right?

And the difference is 8-9 months. Sometimes this dosn't always apply, so 1996
