oil pressure

i got the bucking in OD fixed, ended up having transmission rebuilt
thank you to those that helped me with that issue.

since i got the car the oil pressure reads about 2 lines before max when driving and about a little over 3/4 of the way idling. is there any danger of something blowing because of the high pressure? the engine does not smoke or knock. the gauge does go to 0 when the car is turned off so i know it is not sticking.

No, if it maxed the gauge, I would suggest having the pressure tested; however, since it isn't, I feel confident that all fine.
