I found the wires for the #3 cylinder fuel injector all bare near the plug and they were touching, I did not get a check engine light and I only noticed a loss in power, I repaired the wires but I still get intermittent loss of power, id it possible the injector got damaged? Or am I looking at a new wiring harness?

You answered a recent question about the torque lock on the converter feeling like I am in wrong gear with shaking, I wonder if the discovery of the bare wires could be part of it
your help is very much appreciated

Did you solder the wire or use a connector, if a connector you may have a high resistance conection causing you a problem.

I used 2 crimp connectors.
I am guessing soldering and using shrink tubing is a better way to do it.
