freeze plugs are on the side of the block down low. whats the problem with the little BMW?

It shoots water out of the radiator as soon as it starts. There is water also comming from the from the side of the engine. I was told it is probably a cracked head

id agree with that due to the water being pushed out of the radiator by engine compression
