Hi,my coolent light came on so filled coolent, then heating gauge went up, really worried the last BM I owned had this problem as it was a head gasket.
Plese help.

Hi thank you for your reply,
I drive a wonderful large car, unfortunatley do not have the large bank balance to take it to a BMW dealer, its quite old so I was hoping to fix this myself.

I once asked a good friend of mine who was a surgeon if he could teach me how to take out an appendix. He said "Sure I could teach you what to do in about an hour, but it would take several years to teach you what to do if something goes wrong". You probably dont possess the skill sets to attempt this and you might consider that fixing this yourself is too much to ask.
