Unless you had them pulled by BMW service or a proprietary capable reader they are not accurate. Brake lights could be fuse or pedal switch.

I had a scan test ran by a repair shop mechanic and those were the codes he stated needed further diagnostics. Bought a brake light switch to try for the lights.I dont think the lights have anything to do with codes (possibly engine related?)I want to repair these faults myself

Not all repairs are a simple change of parts. It will require further diagnostics.
