The battery in the car died. I was trying to jump the car, when i saw the battery was in the back. I accidentally without realizing the damage it would cause tried to jump the car from the front and the back. There is a positive input in the front as well. After trying that and not working, I replaced it with a new battery. The battery Icon is still there in the dash. Is there any way to fix it?

First, check all main fuses under the hood. If they are check good, then you should have the alternator tested and then test to see if power from the alt is making it to the battery. You could have burned out the fusible link.
