hi was driving along motorway car said to service oil and has broken down drive gear sounds like a car toy and will not accelerate very well but reverse is working fine it has bn saying service oil for a while i had put new oil but not sure whats wrong

I would get the transmission check by a mechanic first hand, the noise you describe sounds like a mechanical failure in the transmission.
