I have a 1997 acura 2.5TL model and the original starter went bad,i replaced the starter with starter from auto zone which also went bad.i went at acura and buy a factory starter which only last six months,what could be the problem? I also changed the battery and terminal.

When the starter went bad, what was the problem? Did it get burnt off or what?
