Suddenly, the front section of my car's exhaust system fell off and is dragging (and LOUD obviously). What is this section called and how much should I expect the repair to cost on a 1996 Volvo 850 wagon?

Exhaust System :
The exhaust system consists of three main components.

Exhaust manifold, three-way catalytic converter (TWC) and connection pipe and silencer with intermediate and tail pipes.
