lights go out

Volkswagen Cabriolet lights that randomly stop working ... The head lights, tail lights, inside lights, and sometime the fan will go out. Then they will just as randomly come back on. I have noticed that when they go out the brake light turns on then will go back out again.

do some general wiring connection checks at fuse box and battery leads.

yeah i did that, ended up taking to the shop. guy has worked on it for over 4 hours and is still at a loss
