1996 Toyota Rav4 Hit Lock Dif Button By Accident Parking Lot Light Came On

HIt the lock dif button by accident in parking lot. Light came on and dif locked. I pushed button again and beeping started and won't stop now. I assume the dif is still locked if the beeping continues.

TRy driving for a short distance. Reverse vehicle if it does not release. If it sitll fail to release, you would need to check the control system and solenoids etc.
