when I apply the brakes makes a grinding noise

Makes a grinding/scratching noise whenI apply the brakes (coming from the front right side only...I do NOT hear it coming from any of the other three)

THIS IS NOT GOOD!!!

MAYBE YOU CAUGHT IT IN TIME!

SOUNDS LIKE THE PAD IS WORN DOWN TO METAL ON THE BRAKES

THE PADS ARE EXPENDABLE

THE ROTOR OR DISC CAN SOMETIMES BE MACHINED (CHEAPER ROUTE) OR IF THERE IS TOO MUCH DAMAGE, IT MUST BE REPLACED (MORE EXPENSIVE)-

CONTINUING TO DRIVE IT MEANS LESSER STOPPING POWER, MAYBE THE STEERING PULLS IN ONE DIRECTION, WHEN YOU APPLY THE BRAKES, AND FURTHER DAMAGE TO THE ROTOR

REPAIR YOUR BRAKES ASAP!
