The ignition switch in my daughters 1996 Toyota Camry will not turn. The switch is in the dashboard, and I understand that to replace the ignition lock assembly, the key has to be turned to the ACC location to remove the ignition lock assembly. We have tried to turn the steering wheel and everything else to free the switch, to no avail. Apparently the lock assembly has malfunctioned, and will not allow the key to turn to any location. Any recommendations?
