I was just what you think is wrong with my subaru liberty its overheating but no going past just over half way on the temperture gage when I have my heater full ball sometimes it just stays normal if im driving around town, im going through coolant alot somedays like yesterday I filled it up twice today I havent had to fill it at all ive looked for leaks and it looks like its leaking from the bottom radiator hose? Do I just need to replace the house or is it the water pump or is my thermostat not working?

You replace what's leaking. If you see the leak is at a hose, either the clamp is loose or rusted off, or the hose is rotten and needs to be replaced. You didn't list the mileage, so I can't make any judgement calls based on that, but as for the age of the car, the hoses should be replaced if they haven't been already.
