I drove my 96 Saturn Sw2 through a huge water puddle and my car died driving through it and hasnt started in two weeks. When we try to start it all we hear is a tick sound. What could be wrong?

No crank at all/nothing/nada when key is engage to starting position

Could be a blown fusible link, the starter, starter relay, clutch switch/park and neutral switch/transmission position switch and ignition switch assuming the battery and connections are good. Note:If it doesn't apply disregard.

Just to add to this one sounds like the engine got water in and locked up.Get a wrench and see if the engine turns over.Remove the spark plugs and see if there is any water in the plug holes.
