how do you replace a crankshaft sensor 1996 saturn sl
check engine light code was po340 there is no camshaft in saturns so what is the correct diagnoses

You don't replace the crank shaft sensor for a code p0340.There is no code for a bad crank shaft sensor on the car.A p0340 is usaully plug's and wire's issue.Look for a black residue on the terminal side of of the plug's and on the the side of the wire's that go onto the plug's.Also inspect the coil tower's where the plug wire's go on for being corroded.Those are the most common reason's for that code let me know what you find.

Do you have any misfire because a misfire on cylinders 1 or 4 will cause a PO340.
