saturn 1996 when driving i hit the gas pedal and the car feels like its excliarating but does not go fast

Do you have any code's?SO you say it feel's like it's excelerating but doesn't.Do the rpm's rev up?The more detail's the better.

Bogging down feels nothing like a transmission slipping.If it's reving up but bogging down i would see if you have a restricted exhaust.
