Recetly purchased a 96 saturn for my GF to use as a work vehicle. The seller told us it needed a Slave cylinder. I replaced the slave an master cyl as a kit to avoid bleeding. I still have the same problem.

The car wont shift into gear while running. Its like the clutch isn't engaging. It grids when i try to put it into any gear.

So is the brake pedal hard all the way down or does it drop some before it get's hard?If it's hard all the way down then you have a bad clutch pressure plate most likely.
