Low battery warning came up on the screen in my megane. Along with this was the STOP light and the battery symbol illuminated. I have replaced the battery and the alternator. All was well for a couple of days but now the all these lights have come back on. I can remove them by stopping and restarting the car, but they come back on after approximately 10 minutes. Help.

I have to be honest, these vehicle aren't sold in N, America, so I have limited knowledge and no shop manuals for it. However, I am going to try my best to help.

Can you tell me if the alternator has a regulator built into it or if the voltage is regulated by the power control module? Also, are battery terminals clean and tight? Is the alt belt tight? When the light comes on, have you checked to see if the alternator is still charging the battery? Last, are you certain that the main ground to the engine block from the battery is in good condition, tight and clean?
