When driving once cars gets to about 1500 rpms theres kinda like a rattling noise coming from the top of the engine. Took it to a shop, the guys just kinda listened to it and said it could be a lifter??? looking for second opinions please....

Rattling from top of head are usually from valve lifters but we are in no way to be able to distinguish the exact source of the noise. Ensure you have sufficient engine oil and engine is not heavily sludged.

A second opinion should be sought with someone who can look at the car and verify the source of the noise. Don't feed them with what you or others have said. Just ask what is causing the noise and what needs to be done.
