what causes the odometer to stop working periodically, especially when changing lanes. Odometer starts working again after vehicle has been parked. What can I do to fix it ?

Mine did the same thing all it was is a bad ground connection. Pull it out and run a ground a wire from it to some meddle on the car I ran mine to the cd player
