I have a 96 pathfinder and have replaced both frt struts. I am getting a rocking motion(left to right-right to left). I also get a clunk at driver side when turn of wheel all the way around.
The bouncing seems to come on when there is a small rise in road as it goes over. It is pretty scary.

Thanks,
Ed

Check steering ends for wear, check all bushes as with the weight transfer on full lock this may be a worn bush moving, as for the rocking, thisa will be something to do with struts and springs, have the struts re checked, new struts do fail.

Found a couple of bolts that were not tight enough for me. Pushed, probed and checked bushes. I'm going to take it to a front end shop and get an estimate and see what they come up with. I don't have enough knowledge just playing with the parts. Thanks a lot for the help. I'll come back again.
