This does not happen all the time but sometimes when I brake the brakes shudder like try to grab and apat feel like they are slipping but not all the time. Also when I've stopped and go to take off again it feels like I'm stuck like the brakes are locked up and I have to press the accelerator in more before I can move.

You may have a brake not releasing all the way for one reason or another and this would eventually lead to overheating which would give you the shudder. You need to have the brakes checked to look for this stuff.
