My wife's 1996 (R PLate) Micra 1.3 GLX keeps blowing the electric window fuse (25Amp Link) - as well as stopping the windows opening it also stops the central locking from working. So far it has gone through 3 fuses in about 3 months

Check for frayed or bare wires between the door hinges.
