My car is running fine, but has started whining/screeching when I go over 40mph. Not constantly just intermittantly and will stop completly when it goes below 40mph. It doesn't always do this but it is becoming more frequent. I suspect it is one of the belts but how do you tell which one.

take a spray bottle with water and spray it on the suspected belt. if the noise goes away, thats the belt.

regardless, if it is a belt, replace all belts.
