where is the thermostat located at on 96 nissan maxima?

Disconnect battery ground cable, then drain engine and radiator coolant.
Remove lower radiator hose, then the water inlet, Fig. 19 .
Remove thermostat from thermostat housing.
Reverse procedure to install.
