1996 Mitsubishi Galant Replaced Alternator Battery Getting Out Put

I have replaced alternator and battery...not getting any out put from alternator. I took alternator off and had it tested it was good....something seems to be pulling battery down...what can I do? I had to have the battery charged 3X's....is their a voltage regulator or anything? Thanks

I believe the voltage regulator is built into the alternator on your vehicle. Have you checked to see if there is an electrical draw on the battery when the key and all accessories are turned off?
