My tail lights will not go off i have taken out my brake peadal switch and i have taken it out and the lights are still on the only way the lights will go off is if i remove the battery post what do i need to try next

If you have disconnected the switch and the lights are still on, you have to have a short to a power supply. I hate to say it, but it requires that you trace the wiring to the lights to see where the problem is located.

Could be shorted out on the headlamp switch itself
