1996 Mitsubushi Galant S (EGR1430) the replacement part has an extra whole in it? I guess it's for vacuum sensor line? Can I cap it off or will that cause a problem? How can I find the right part, when this keeps coming up when I search out the part? Help Vivian

It looks the same except that The old one that came off does not have the whole in the side (for a vacuum line I guess) in it. How do I find the right one? Or can I cap it off with not problem? Help

I will do that. Thanks so much. Is it possible I have a different year engine? Would that be the reason it doesnt have the extra whole in it?

Let's start with making sure it's a 1996 and get me that picture and we will go from there.
