My Eclipse is giving me problems it is burning through 2 quarts in a week it has a leak on the valve cover gasket that I am fixing soon but from what I know that would not be causing this much problems. I can not even drive 100 miles without it going past half. It is really irritating being that I am broke as a skunk. If someone could give me any suggestions I will be really grateful. Also I changed the spark plugs and wires not even a week ago hoping that would help.

Check to see if your pcv valve is working or plugged if it's plugged unplug hte hose and get a new valve. You may have a ring or valve seal problem as well or the return holes to engine are blocked and keeping oil in the cylinder head and burning.
