The Mitsubishi challenger engine is 4M40(K97 chasis). It had an injector pump problem which was sorted out. However, it started giving me a hard start in the morning and the revs wouldn't sometimes go beyond 750 rpm until when it is hot enough. Now it just gave up and would move until it cooled after some 2 hours. Could it be still the injector pump?

Yes. What was done to get it sorted out in the first place?
Were the glow plugs checked for proper operations?
