When i stopped the car my interior lights stayed on.

my interior lights stay on when car is off and door ajar comes on , on the dash board. Auto locks don't work when car is in drive? When I got in the car and started it the door ajar light came on, on the dash and the auto lock did not engage when in drive.

You have a door switch that is faulty. It's either stuck in the door open position internally, or shorted.
