1996 Sable The head lights do not turn on when I turn the switch on. The rear and parking lights do come on. I was wondering what the most likely problem is. This doesnt happen all the time but has happened more frequently as of late. I have the ability to fix it i just want to know which is the more likely problem, the switch or the wiring. Thank you for your help.

It could be the switch, multifunction switch, or a wiring issue. Check the wiring in the steering column. Also, check for power out of the multi function switch when you have the column apart and check for broken wires in the column.
