My check engine started flashing and my car acted like it was going to die or was like shaking while I was on the freeway going 70 mph. What does this mean

The computer has stored a trouble code. That is what has set the light to come on. You need to have the computer scanned to identify where the problem is coming from. Take the vehicle to a nationally recognized parts store and have them scan it. Most will do it for free. Let me know what code they find.
