My enigine was running low on oil and was loosing oil pressure (its also burnt 3 litres of oil in 4 weeks which is why I was caught out), It started making a bad noise, which is what alerted me to the problem. I have a feeling I have damaged some shells. New oil is now in , should I still drive the car before getting it to my mechanic? Thanks, Adam

My advice is not to drive will make things worst as it is-Get the oil pressure checked this will tell you something
