How do I remove the radiator cooling fan on a 1996 Mazda Protege with a manual transmission.

Obtain radio theft protection code.
Disconnect battery ground cable, then remove radiator.
Remove radiator fan motor as shown, Fig. 30 .
Reverse procedure to install. Ensure audio system is reactivated after battery ground cable is connected.
