1996 Mazda 323 noisy hydrolic lifters

i have just chaged my lifters n they are more noisy than before. maybe i was sapose to use a filler gauge but i dont know yhe size or must i use a torque wrang but to which nm? can u halp

Have you checked engine oil pressure first, you may not be getting enough oil to the top of the engine.
