why does it take forever to fuel my sportage?

If I try to fuel my vehicle faster than a trickle, the pump nozzle keeps clicking off.

For fuel to enter the tank, air has to escape. Therefore, the breather is most likely damaged or plugged. If you look along the filler hose from under the vehicle, you will see a smaller hose running along side of it. That is the breather. Make sure it isn't damaged or plugged.

One of the EVAP system hose or solenoid is clogged. Get a scan done to check for trouble codes.
