How do I access the BCM? It appears that the molding below the steering wheel needs to be removed. How do I remove this molding?

Hi:

I don't know if you already have this work done, but the molding should be screwed to the dash. I have to be honest, I just went through 20 pages of tests and procedures related to the BCM, and not one of them showed an exploded view of how this comes apart.

It's been awhile since I worked on a 96 and don't remember them exactly. However, the part should be screwed into place.

Let me know if I can help in any way.
