1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4.0L Inline 6Cyl.
Phantom electrical problem with this jeep.
Following parts have been replaced with brand new parts:
Battery
Battery cables
Radiator hoses
Harmonic balancer
CSM
PCM
All Fuses and relays
Oil change with oil filter
Fuel Pump with filter change
Tires
Headlights
My problem with the jeep is that it randomly shuts off when I am driving down the road. I live on an island where the roads are not paved. I have tightened the terminals on the PCM and retaped the wires so that nothing is touching. What else can I do at this point?

When the problem occurs, does it restart quickly? If not, have a helper crank it while you visually check for spark at the plugs. If spark everywhere, use a gage and check fuel pressure. Intermittent issues can be hard to find, you have to test when problem is ongoing. Can you check for possible mil codes? You cycle the key to get mil codes, you turn key just till dash lites come on, no further, no crank. Cycle key, on--off, on--off, on, then the mil starts flashing, you count the flashes to get the codes. Your looking for two digit codes. I haven't looked at my database, but, that procedure should work, if there are any codes.
