I have a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4 X 4. The front drivers side turn signal bulb needs to be replaced. I bought the new bulb but can't seem to understand the owners manual on how to access the bulb. Can you help?

OK this may sound "Stupid" (and might be to you!)

I have achieved "Helper Status" here!

I do not know your rig at all!

But in order to get you a "Timely" and "Answer that will work"

AND ONE THAT WILL GET YOU GOING----SOON AND FAST!

PLEASE HEAR ME OUT!

Imma CJ Jeep kinda guy--coupled to a "McGyver" way of thinking!

THE BULB YOU BOUGHT, SHOULD WORK ON EITHER SIDE, AT ANY TIME.

Let's stick it in the glove box for future use---OR MAYBE STILL, YOU CAN USE IT NOW!

The FELLERS at Autozone or Advance Auto, replace 'em all of the time (particularly if purchased there, other auto parts stores may do the same)

Watch. So that you may learn how.

Go ahead and spend about $30 for you a "Chilton's" or "Haynes" Repair manual while you are there. It covers things like that and other really important stuff like PROPER MAINTENANCE and Repairs, in Step X Step fashion. If you will read thru one you will understand where I am coming from. This may help you when you are in a real "BIND" on the side of the road!

Besides, the more you show your face in these places, the more they will spend time to assist you---you know they will "Code your Vehicle" for FREEEEEEE! If your check engine light comes on, and they are really helpful in showing you what needs changing, and will sell you the part in most cases, if it is needed!

HOW CAN YOU GO WRONG WITH THIS INFO?

PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT HAPPENS!

I STARTED OUT WITH A "CHILTON'S" FOR MY JEEP AND A $100 CRAFTSMAN MECHANIC'S TOOL SET---THAT WAS 1982. THAT WAS 7 JEEPS AGO, AND NOW I HAVE MANY, FOR NOT ONLY MY JEEPS, BUT FOR OTHER VEHICLES FOR MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS.I AM A PLUMBER, WITH VERY GOOD MECHANICAL SKILLS---MY LAST 2 JEEPS WERE BUILT FROM NEARLY, FROM THE GROUND UP, WITH NOTHING BUT EXPERIENCE AND MANUALS, ALL BY MYSELF!

IF YOU EVER DESIRE MORE. COUNTRY-BOY, GET 'ER DONE ADVICE, COME BACK TO THIS POST AND REPLY.I WILL BE ALERTED.I USUALLY CAN FIND AN ANSWER. IT MAY BE 'ROUND ABOUT, THE WAY I ACQUIRE IT!
